Local artists will be performing dance, music, comedy, drama and poetry at a charity event to be held at the Red Location Museum between September 25 and 26. Following on Heritage day on September 24, the event will raise funds for a local school, Zondeki Primary as well as an old age institution. Changing Hearts and Minds Through Arts and Crafts

From 2011, a small group of women from Block 40 (the Precinct’s immediate surrounding community) began attending craft classes at the Museum. Great support was received from some stakeholders, such as the Diaz Quilters Guild. This project has since expanded to include more community members and classes are being run once weekly, in the interim, at the Red Location Art Gallery.
