Local artists will be performing dance, music, comedy, drama and poetry at a charity event to be held at the Red Location Museum between September 25 and 26.
Following on Heritage day on September 24, the event will raise funds for a local school, Zondeki Primary as well as an old age institution.
Organiser of the event, Odwa Mngini hails from KwaZakhele, and established his own entertainment company three years ago with the aim of preventing the youth from indulging in criminal activities and steering their focus towards art.
According to Mngini, the shows taking place will be geared towards expressing the challenges communities are faced with such as drug abuse, crime, and teenage pregnancy.
Fans are expected to flock to the Red Location Museum for the two day event from 14:00 on Tuesday, 25 September and 18:00 on Wednesday, 26 September. Tickets will be available at the door for R50.
