The former Station Commander and his former Head of Detectives at KwaNobuhle Police Station in Port Elizabeth were each sentenced to seven-year imprisonment on Tuesday at the Specialised Commercial Crime court for charges of Fraud and defeating the ends of justice. Hijacked Kwanobuhle vehicle recovered after one day
Cradock SAPS members arrested a 34-year-old suspect about 30 km from Cradock on N10 towards Cookhouse, for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of drugs. The team received information from Tracker that two Volkswagen Polos, one that was reported stolen last year in Dobsonville, Gauteng and the other which was hijacked yesterday in Kwanobuhle, Uitenhage were on route to Cradock on the N10. Three men were arrested after they allegedly hijacked a vehicle (VW Polo) on the morning of 14 December 2015 in KwaNobuhle, Uitenhage. Police have recovered large amounts of cash and Mandrax valued at R82 000, during Operation Fiela in KwaNobuhle, Port Elizabeth.
