Uitenhage Cluster members have cracked down on drug dealers again. A joint operation between Uitenhage K9 Unit and the Crime Intelligence Unit yielded positive results, today, Friday, 14 November 2014.
Members acted on information at 06:00 and obtained a search warrant for a house in Siviwe Street, Kwanobuhle. The premises were searched and with the assistance of the K9 dog, Indy, dagga was discovered in two containers inside a bedroom. Dagga estimated to the value of R11 000-00 (11 kilograms) was seized.
Two suspects a male, 29-years-old, and a female, 25-years-old, were arrested and are due to appear in the Kwanobuhle Magistrate’s court on Monday, 17 November 2014 on a charge of dealing in dagga.
