www.MyPE.co.za: It seems as though we are living on the edge of the 30% of total capacity in the dams supplying the Nelson Mandela Bay Metro with the recent rains increasing the total dam levels by a mere 0.14% to 31.64% from 31.5% on 13 December 2010.
The latest figures include the rainfall so far this month.
Dam Levels as at 20 December 2010 (Rainfall 13 to 19 December 2010 in brackets):
- Kouga: 32,4% (29,0 mm)
- Churchill: 29,5% (56,2 mm)
- Impofu: 28,1% (36,2 mm)
- Loerie: 64,0% (20 mm)
- Groendal: 47,2% (71.5 mm)
- Average all: 31,64 % of total combined capacity.
