Three die in PE old age home fire
Three people were killed when an old age home caught fire in Port Elizabeth, according to the Nelson Mandela Bay Emergency Medical Services. The fire started at Ekuphumleni old age home in Booi Street, Zwide, on Saturday night. According to an EMS alert, two people with epilepsy died of smoke inhalation. As part of the Integrated Public Transport System (IPTS) upgrades in the process of changing the face of Nelson Mandela Bay for the better, Zwide’s Koyana Street will be closed between Sakuba and Qeqe Streets for an extended period.
