More Space for Malabar Cemetery

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality has set aside R850,000 towards the much- needed extension of the Malabar Cemetery. The 5 hectares extension will result in a further 17 000 burial space graves being added. The project, which will see the fencing being extended, is expected to get off the ground within the first quarter (July-September) of the current financial year. Port Elizabeth - A prison warder was raped and kidnapped, allegedly by a child rapist after he escaped from St Albans prison in Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape correctional services said on Thursday. YoY production and consumption of electricity decreases

Both electricity production and consumption decreased in December, according to Statistics SA. Electricity production decreased by 0.3% year-on-year (y/y) in December 2015 and electricity consumption decreased by 1.5%. Total electricity generation was 2% lower in 2015 compared to 2014.
