NMBM Apologises for KwaDwesi and Joe Slovo Water Supply Problems

8 April 2011 By NMB Communications

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused due to repair work currently being carried out due to pipe bursts over the weekend in the KwaDwesi and Joe Slovo areas.

Water supply to KwaDwesi is expected to be restored by close of business today. Unfortunately work on the Joe Slovo pipeline is expected to longer which means that water supply could only be restored by tomorrow morning. Water tankers will be deployed in the affected areas.

Residents can call the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s 24 hour call centre number 0800 20 50 50 if they did not have access to water from tankers.
