That feeling of panic when you just can’t quantify your web site visitor numbers …..
I am often asked to give potential advertisers the number of visitors to MyPE and tend to give them the number based on the Google Analytics report, not thinking that there are a number of sections of the MyPE site that are not carrying the Google Analytics code. So, what happens is that the numbers I report are actually less than the real figure. In the back of my mind, of course, is the thought that people may think that I am lying about the reported numbers so I always tell them to look at … [Read more...] about That feeling of panic when you just can’t quantify your web site visitor numbers …..
Don’t Belive the Lies
It is people like this that make me angry - first of all they send me unsolicited e-mail and secondly they lie, lie, lie. Let us improve your visibility and enhance your image. It's part of our complete Internet Marketing package. We'll be more than your friends - we'll be your partners. Interesting if you like Numbers
As part of the new look MyPE I have begun to use Google Analytics to track visitors to the site. Initially I only installed the tracking code in the news section (which is the new section) and have just finished installing the code to a section of the Business Directory. Over the next couple of weeks the Google Analytics code will be added to the existing Gallery and the Classifieds. Yesterday's visitor figures to the news section were quite high, ending at 2 919 visits and mainly as a … [Read more...] about Interesting if you like Numbers
