The year 2013 was a bit of a watershed year as Google removed the most basic of SEO techniques and guides by ceasing reporting to web site owners exactly which search terms had been typed into a Google Search box to find the web site that Google referred the searcher to. Confused? What happened in the past was that when you did a search on Google for Port Elizabeth and clicked from the Google MyPE result to the MyPE site then Google told MyPE that someone searching for Port Elizabeth was … [Read more...] about MyPE Top 500

Athenaeum hosts acclaimed New Brighton artist’s first solo exhibition in 15 years

12 December 2013 By Alan Straton

Dolla Sapeta is having a mid-life colour crisis. It is not his fault, he maintains, that the monochrome of township life led him to pop art. Who could resist the allure of streaking bright yellow, tangerine, lapis lazuli blue and neon green across the greys and browns of zones made to keep people locked into earth tones? At 47, Sapeta has earned the right to contemplate colour and its impact across his bold, socio-political body of art. The opening of Sapeta's first solo exhibition in his … [Read more...] about Athenaeum hosts acclaimed New Brighton artist’s first solo exhibition in 15 years
