James Pienaar and Brett Amsterdam produced fine all-round performances to take Union High to a massive 197-run victory over Marlow Agricultural on the second day of the home & equity Pearson Cricket Festival in Port Elizabeth on Friday. Jayden Brotherton led the way with the bat for Union by hitting top score of 83 in their innings of 252/6 declared, while Pienaar contributed 40 and Amsterdam made 45. Mixed fortunes for Pearson in cricket festival

Hosts Pearson had mixed fortunes on the opening day of their home & equity Cricket Festival in Port Elizabeth on Thursday - winning one and losing one of their Twenty20 matches. After defeating Despatch in the morning, Pearson came unstuck against Grey High in the second match, going down by eight wickets after managing just 68 in their innings.
