Algoa FM rocked the city of the Nelson Mandela Bay when they pulled off their first Algoa Live music festival this weekend featuring 7 of SA’s top national acts. More than 5000 people danced the day away on Saturday 7 March at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium to watch their favourite artists including Mi Casa, Goldfish, Jimmy Nevis, Lloyd Cele, Stuart Reece, Prime Circle and Kurt Darren. Post Office launches Art of Stamp Exhibition

As part of its World Post Month celebrations, the SA Post Office will host an exhibition at the Nelson Mandela Metro Art Museum in Port Elizabeth. The exhibition which opened on 12 October is titled “The Art of a Stamp” and will showcase the intricate art behind stamp design and will feature some of South Africa’s favorite stamp sets. The "boss" and I had to take a trip to the Mother City to visit the Uncle Sam consulate for visa reasons. So we decided to make a weekend of it.
