A Ghostly Middle Finger for PE

18 December 2012 By Alan Straton

Knockfierna - now St. George's Preparatory

The creator-owner, Mark Rose-Christie, of the Mystery Ghost Bus Tours will perform his last tour ever in Port Elizabeth, this Saturday, 22 December. Now Mark has a history of 'battling' with the Port Elizabeth media - read: "only wanting free publicity and moaning, crying and deriding when the amount of free publicity that the gets is not enough or any at all". You catch more bees with honey than vinegar, Mark! I wonder if Mark has a bit of a death wish as all his 'press releases' contain … [Read more...] about A Ghostly Middle Finger for PE

Mystery Ghost Bus and Algoa FM Apology

11 November 2011 By Alan Straton

Dear PE Express, East Coast Radio and MyPE.co.za I wish to apologise for, and also retract, my e-mail of 31 October - Halloween Tour cancelled due to ALGOA FM - which I sent whilst I was upset with Algoa FM, and in which I did not intend to cause harm and the like, especially since I am not this type of person. I have been advised by my attorneys to meet with Algoa FM, to resolve the issue of why "Rose Trehaven's Haunted Walk" (who charges a ticket price, and who runs many tours, and … [Read more...] about Mystery Ghost Bus and Algoa FM Apology

Halloween Tour cancelled due to ALGOA FM

31 October 2011 By Port Elizabethan

Hi The reason the PE tour for Halloween was cancelled, is due to Algoa FM, just NOT publicising us. Please DO join in and write to the Press, as this can NOT continue. Especially because, due to Algoa FM, we do NOT even run ANY Public tours in PE, which is now down to a pitiful one Public tour a year, which is ONLY on Halloween, and we can not even get that right due to Algoa FM. Please, all of you, the people from PE, do write to all press (Herald, Weekend Post and Die Burger) and … [Read more...] about Halloween Tour cancelled due to ALGOA FM

Call to Boycott Port Elizabeth’s Community Media

23 August 2011 By Alan Straton

The 'letter' below is from a disgruntled person who has been seeking free advertising in a manner that is not conducive to getting myself and, obviously, other media instances to 'comply'. My comments are below this letter from Mark Rose Christie. Feel free to comment when you have waded through the hissing of cats, tossing of manes, hands on hips posturing and flexing of 'guns'..... Dear Sirs/Mesdames We have approached you, because we think it is high time that one of the Port Elizabeth … [Read more...] about Call to Boycott Port Elizabeth’s Community Media
