According to the TNPA Tariff Book for 2016/17 the price per ton of Manganese Ore is R16.94 (page 42) OR R8.41 (page 43). This past financial year TNPA moved 12 Million Tons of Manganese Ore through it's facilities in Saldanha Bay and Port Elizabeth. This translates into R203 280 000 turnover for the year (at the higher tariff of R16.94). Divided by 365 we can deduce a daily turnover of R556 931.50 per day from the loading of Manganese Ore.
