Two Incubators Handed Over to Dora Nginza
On Wednesday 20 April local radio station, Algoa FM handed over two desperately needed incubators to Dora Nginza Hospital. The radio station raised the funds for the lifesaving equipment through their annual Algoa FM charity golf day held on Tuesday, March 1 this year. Dora Nginza Hospital, home to the Maternal and Child Specialist Unit, delivers around 1 200 babies a month. Up to 160 babies are premature and need to be kept in an incubator for up to eight weeks.
