Gaining more eyeballs for MyPE Advertisers

26 July 2014 By Alan Straton

MyPE Advertising

I am quietly optimistic that the latest change to MyPE will be good for our advertisers and give them an even greater return on investment. The theory is that people always pause to look at an image when scrolling down a page. In the past the images accompanying any article on MyPE were either placed at the bottom of the article or on the left surrounded by text. MyPE is now placing the images at the top of the article (above the fold so to speak)  - this will help to get more eyeballs … [Read more...] about Gaining more eyeballs for MyPE Advertisers

Friday Rant: How dare you ask for money but refuse to identify yourself

23 May 2014 By Alan Straton

Skinnerbek Dishing The Dirt

There is a Facebook page that has many likes and assists the people of Port Elizabeth called the PSNN/TrafficPE. I note that the administrator, in a recent post, is looking for donations from business so that he/she can carry on with the page and 'extract a small salary'. To my dismay the PSNN still sells advertising on their Facebook Page, which, as per the Facebook Pages terms is not allowed. See: Facebook Pages Terms - Section III. >>> Page Features >>> Sub Section A. … [Read more...] about Friday Rant: How dare you ask for money but refuse to identify yourself
