Strangely Enough I have NO Sympathy for the Walmer Protesters

3 July 2012 By Alan Straton

Please stop sending me images from the ongoing Walmer Protests as I do not wish to give the simpletons any more coverage of their so-called plight.

When the last round of non service delivery protests erupted the word from the organisers of the protest was that they would wait for the promised feedback on 7 July 2012 to resume their protests.

Check your calendar peasants – yesterday was 2 July 2012 and NOT 7 July 2012. If you make a deal then you need to stick with it.

Cry Havoc and let slip the dogs of war I say. You deserve the wrath of all ratepayers and law enforcement alike for breaking your deal.

Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.

Well – if the idiots who live in Walmer Township keep voting the idiots in who promise service delivery – why is it suddenly everyone elses problem?  Let them sort it out – but guess who will get back in power next election?  Just because the sheep are mindless and cannot have one single independant thought.  It is far easier to burn a tyre than it is to think – symptomatic of the new South Africa.  Viva ANC Viva!!  It is very hard to fathom how deep stupidity can run.

An emailed comment/update: The unrest in the Walmer location is in its 2nd day, the rioters have now turned their attention to shops within the location. Police are presently chasing suspects as they have started to break in and loot shops within the area. 2 suspects have been arrested, but many have escaped. It is just a matter of time until these actions flow over in other areas. If the government does not step in soon, will this be the start to similar strikes and riots of the late 80’s?
