In order to enhance the water supply to the Wells Estate area, it is necessary to construct a new connection to an existing pipe in Addo Road. In order to achieve this, it will be necessary to shutdown the supply to certain areas.
The affected areas will include:
- Ikamvelihle
- Motherwell NU1
- Motherwell NU2
The water will be shut from approximately 09:00 on Wednesday, 20 March 2013 and will be restored once the work has been completed. It is expected that the work will be completed by 17:00, the same day.
Water tankers will be deployed in the areas and consumers are requested not to leave taps open as the water may be restored at any time.
