The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is currently working to restore water supply to the Despatch and Khayamnandi areas after a leaking main supply pipeline caused an interruption to supply. Work is progressing well at this stage and workers are attempting to restore supply as soon as possible but unfortunately no timeframe is available at this stage.
The affected areas are Manor Heights, Campher Park, Bothasrus, Reservoir Hills, Khayamnandi, Izinyoka and parts of Heuwelkruin.
Tankers are deployed in different parts of the affected areas and residents are requested to contact the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality’s 24-hour toll free centre at 0800 20 50 50.
