I couldn’t be prouder

Allow me a little self indulgence here:

The Longhair and I had a little celebration today after Philip received notification that he had passed his BCom Accounting Honours. To us what makes his achievement so much greater is that in the four years it took to successfully pass these degrees he never had one failure or one rewrite – a stunning achievement.

A sad day too as Philip leaves the family home next year to start articles at EY in Johannesburg.

Alan Straton

Chief Cook, Bottle Washer and Broom Mechanic at MyPE
Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
