Who can spot my son @pwstraton in this image? Photo from 2008 when a young (ish) Philip Straton sailed in the Giza Challenge on a Pacer 27 for their National Championships in Algoa Bay, Port Elizabeth. What a great sailing regatta that was for the young crew under the tutelage of Chris Frost. I couldn’t be prouder

Allow me a little self indulgence here: The Longhair and I had a little celebration today after Philip received notification that he had passed his BCom Accounting Honours. To us what makes his achievement so much greater is that in the four years it took to successfully pass these degrees he never had one failure or one rewrite - a stunning achievement.
