Death of two NMBM Security Officers

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality announces with great sadness the death on duty of two municipal security officers, Mkhuseli Patrick Marcus and Louis Blouw, in a traffic accident in Cape Road early Sunday morning. The two officers were approaching the end of their shift at that time.

The Executive Mayor of the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, Cllr Zanoxolo Wayile, and the Acting Executive Director of Safety and Security, Mr Shane Brown, expressed their shock and regret over the loss of these two hard-working and professional municipal Security Officers, adding that they had dedicated their lives to protecting the safety and security of the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay.

The bereaved families were visited yesterday afternoon to convey the condolences and empathy of the Municipality.
