SAAF Museum celebrating Spitfire progress
The PE SAAF Museum reached an important milestone with the installation of the propellers for the full scale model SAAF Supermarine Spitfire IX. The project, which started in March 2010, is being built for the museum by the Woodpecker Trust, the Friends of the Museum and volunteers. Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Visual Art sees double in 2014
Twenty eight year old twin brothers Hasan and Husain Essop are the winners of the 2014 Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Visual Art. Armourers Anonymous, a unique book written by Willie Burger and Boff van Zyl, available in English & Afrikaans is now on sale from the Friends of the Port Elizabeth SAAF Museum.
