Bayworld is offering the first of many SPECIAL PROGRAMMES for 2011 on 16 January 2011. This SUMMER SPECIAL is for the whole family. Reduced entrance for adults, R20 (half price) and children FREE accompanied by a paying adult.

The programme for the day includes exciting activities such as a shark dissection, snake feedings, crocodile feedings, behind the scenes at the Snake Park, penguin march, penguin feeding, seal feedings, aquarium feeding, treasure hunts, dinosaur expedition, highlight tours in the museum and much more. Activities for the children include face painting and a jumping castle.

Watch the seal and penguin presentations at the Oceanarium, enjoy the impressive collection of fish in the Aquarium, view a variety of Eastern Cape reptiles while strolling through the Snake Park and embark on an exciting journey through time in the Museum. Visit the popular robotic dinosaur display which is back by popular demand as well as one of our latest displays.

On this day the complex opens at 09:00 and closes at 17:30. Seal and penguin presentations are at 11:00 and 15:00 daily.

  1. Don’t want to be overly negative, but why do I want to go and visit a place that depresses me no end, in fact I think that it has become a disgrace, even at half the price.

      Ja sure, for those who have been there done that a shark dissection and crocodile feeding is probably a little bit boring. PLUS, they do not have the same drawing power as what the dolphin shows had.

      Me, I am awaiting the day that Bayworld can present a gee whizz product that will make me PROUD!
