Dear Editor
Don’t drink the tap water – the municipality warned Coega today that the water supply is unsafe and entire system corrupted.
Apparently there is no chlorine in the reticulation plants and high counts of viruses and bacteria have been reported.
Boil whatever you plan to use.

I wouldn’t know if this was true. But, from my own experience from last year, and the ‘contaminated’ water supply, before the reports came out I developed some health issues, switched to filtered or boiled and problem went away, half a glass of tap water, health issue returned within an hour. Two day’s ago my little problem returned, boiled water, problem goes away, this afternoon I drank a glass of tap water, return of the issue. Just saying.
Some of my pupils had upset stomachs today mostly from the blue water bay area.
Just about everyone I know has a tummy bug at the moment – it is too widespread not to suspect the water. How disgusting.
