Wanna Get Bitch Slapped?

By

Please be aware that a certain Port Elizabeth based business has been using the contact form in the MyPE business directory to send many businesses an e-mail attempting to sell software products.

After the first complaint that I received I sent the owner an e-mail asking him to desist.

After the THIRD complaint I picked up the phone and had a little chat with the owner.

Just to re-iterate why it is not a good idea to tout for business using contact and other forms:

  • By touting for business via this fairly anonymous way you demonstrate desperation, lack of foresight and planning.
  • You instantly receive a negative association and become known as THAT SPAM company/person.
  • Negative marketing only works for so long and then you have to grow up and play by the rules.
  • By abusing a facility placed on the site to help grow Port Elizabeth business you are placing the relevance and longevity of the MyPE directory in jeopardy. In other words FARG with MyPE and the good work we have done so far and I will BITCH SLAP you very quickly!

If you want us to help you grow your business rather contact us direct. DO NOT use dodgy spam techniques when you may find that I am more than willing to assist you for next to nothing.

Passionate about Port Elizabeth and definitely NOT packing for Perth. Alan's ethos is epitomised in the words of Nelson Mandela; "I have fought against white domination and I have fought against black domination. I have cherished the idea of a democratic and free society. If need be, it is an ideal for which I am prepared to die." See more articles by Alan.
