Scratching in my Mother’s attic I found an old photo album with images from when her Mother was a child and towards the end of the album a series of 12 images of Old Port Elizabeth – so here they go – one a day and a round up on day 12.

A few weeks back I was tasked with
gathering information on the old Port Elizabeth Harbour, what started off as a
mere university assignment has quickly grown into a passionate obsession. There
is such a lack in the resources available on the History of the Algoa Bay region
and I am determined to rectify this. If you feel you are able I would love to
