Injured British yachtswoman, Michelle Porter, was evacuated by the Port Elizabeth NSRI on 8 November 2013, during the Cape Town Australia leg of the Clipper round-the-world race after the boat she was crewing on, Derry ~ Londonderry ~ Doire, was struck by 'monumental' wave. Please enjoy the following escape performance I gave at the St Patrick's Church - Women's Day High Tea event held on the 10th of August 2013 at Morewag Primary School. Hostage drama at PE pharmacy
Eastern Cape police had to negotiate with two men, apparently a father and son who took three people hostage at a pharmacy in Seaview near Port Elizabeth.
