Uitenhage Poultry Producer Expands Again
Sovereign Foods, the third largest poultry producer in South Africa, today announced the acquisition of the Blue Hills hatchery in Midrand. The hatchery was previously known as Hyline Africa which was a commercial layer grandparent facility. Members of the community in Port Elizabeth’s poverty stricken Ext 21 in Bethelsdorp received a meal and free health assessments on Monday 8 June 2015. The project was an initiative of We Care (NPO: 065-179), a non-profit, community based organisation that focuses on providing assistance to less privileged communities in Bethelsdorp.
