The big shot in charge of a large listed wholesaler of alcohol and other FMCG goods has a 'personal store' on the premises of the business. In this store lies a lot of high end alcohol. Every now and then he sends a lackey to carry stock to his personal vehicle which he then leaves in, from work, at the end of the day. Put out a tender for a major Easter Event. Accept the lowest tender and then demand the winning company cuts the tender price by around 25% to R2 million. Take months and months to pay the pittance.
