You catch more bees with honey than vinegar

19 June 2013 By Alan Straton

We at MyPE have been running the MyPE Business Directory for just on 9 years and I always get asked how effective being listed in the directory is. In a nutshell I can state that most listings in the directory get a fair amount of traffic which must be turning into revenue for them as many people keep their listings up to date and actively engage with us to do so. As with most free services we struggle with the perception that something free cannot have real value, we are never thanked for … [Read more...] about You catch more bees with honey than vinegar

Top 10 of Everything

13 October 2012 By Alan Straton

What is the use of wading through millions of page views and not using that data to provide somewhat useful information? The plaintive plea for assistance to find an … [Read more...] about Become Mommy’s Greek God Again

Wedding Cake Bums

12 January 2011 By Alan Straton

Every now and then I like to thank people who do things right. The MyPE business directory allows Port Elizabeth and 041 based businesses to submit their details and be listed for free in the category of their choice. Along with this 'FreeDom' we ask you to not be DOM and follow some simple guidelines - for example: select the right category, don't CAPITALISE, submit a PE address or 041 telephone number and don't use spaces in the telephone number. A simple enough request I am sure. In … [Read more...] about Wedding Cake Bums
