Rough Seas See ORS Round 4 Swimming Event Cancelled
Sunday's 4th round of the Weekend Post Ocean Racing Series saw the cancellation of the Dis-Chem ocean events due to dangerous sea conditions with just the beach events being held on the morning. With over 300 swimmers expected to have taken part, it was a big disappointment for the organisers who had to make the hard decision of cancelling the swimming events despite some resistance from the more seasoned swimmers who were keen to test their skills in the choppy Easterly conditions.
