On Saturday evening late, the apprentice longhair (my daughter, Brittany) was on her way home from work. She stopped at the Mount Road / Govan Mbeki traffic lights and two men "with big sticks" approached her vehicle. The one on the passenger side attempted to open the door with no luck. The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality confirmed today that all municipal Customer Care Centres have reopened and are ready for business with residents following the recent labour unrest that saw municipal employees leave their work stations because of unhappiness about issues such as regrading and lack of uniforms. Taxi driver goes on rampage in North End
Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality's Traffic Officers saved the day after a taxi driver hit a pedestrian at 15:55 and ploughed into a bakkie that ended up in an Electric Express shop.
