It is alleged that at about 07:50 on 19 February, a 29 year old known gangster was shot and wounded outside a primary school in Shauderville Port Elizabeth. The man had just dropped off his fiancé, a teacher at the school and as he drove out the school gates, shots were fired from a white VW Golf. It is alleged that on Tuesday, 9 February 2016 at about 09:30, occupants travelling in a Nissan open bakkie were shot at on the M4 Port Elizabeth bound. The two occupants aged 19 and 25 years old seated at the back of the bakkie were injured. The female was shot in her left leg and the male in his left arm and left foot.
