Sound Familiar? We Want the Mayor Out!

So the calls to get rid of yet another Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor are increasing. Since the days of Nceba Faku we have yet to see a Mayor actually serve his or her term out completely.

Let’s just pause and re-examine that phrase; “serve his or her term” – an accepted way of describing the holding of office by a public official. We should actually change that phrase to one more meaningful, such as “complete his or her time at the trough of ratepayer suffering”. It certainly seems that the comrades DO notice the rapid upward change in lifestyle of their deployees in government, become a tad jealous, and then call for removal so that they can also get a shot at retiring early.

Comrades, you need to learn one lesson; “If one of your deployed Mayors does not actually sit down and do some serious work on getting meaningful investment and stopping the drain of money and brains from our Metro then there will be even less left on the carcasses of the ratepayers for you to feed on!”

I have always said that I think the Mayor is doing a good job and wish that Standard house would leave him alone to run with managing the Metro. Let’s be brutally frank here; “How much more damage can he do to the Metro over the next couple of years? Methinks not a lot as we seem to have hit Ground Zero and it can only be up from here.”

Come on Nceba et al, have the courage to actually do something for the good citizens of this Metro and make decisions based on what is good for us and not based on what is good for you. We all know the men and women in blue would love to get their sweaty paws on running the Metro and it certainly looks like that is gonna happen if you keep on farging up like you are day after day.
