Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to inform members of the public, rate payers and businesses that some of the refuse collection employees are currently on strike.
We advise and plead with those who have transport to take their refuse to nearby transfer stations.
There is a contingency plan currently in place, however due to conditions in related to the strike, we expect delays in refuse collection.
The municipality will update of any developments on this matter. The municipality would also like to apologise for any inconvenience caused by this, efforts are currently being made to bring the situation to normal.
