One of our venerable Weekend Newspapers reported this morning that £97 Million was the equivalent of R1.2 Million. I don’t know what happened in between last night and this morning but with one Rand equal to 80.83 Pounds I know what I am gonna do.
I am packing as we speak – I reckon that once my house is sold I will be able to live like a KING in England. Whilst the Longhair and I wait for that money to come through we have managed to scrounge the equivalent of a million pounds together and are off to our new life.
We have enrolled the Kangaroo at BOTH Oxford and Cambridge (to increase his chances or rowing in the 2013 Oxford Cambridge Boat Race) and would welcome suggestions as to which stable we should buy for the Apprentice Longhair. Exciting stuff I must say and all thanks to the venerable newspaper.
Anyone want a loan?

I cannot believe that a newspaper can make such a HUGE mistake. Seriously – that venerable weekend read is becoming something of a joke. It is a matter of spot the mistake – there are so many of them. Like doing “spot the difference” – you can now do “spot the error”!
