A weekly Beachfront Walk with members of the Humewood SA Police Services will take place every Thursday morning at 8:00 am over the summer season.
Interested walkers (and talkers) are invited to rendezvous in front of Hobie Beach Pier (Shark Rock) on Marine Drive, Summerstrand before 8:00 am
This combined CPF and SAPS initiative is to build relationships between the community and the SAPS members. Member sof the public will be able to chat to our local SAPS members whilst walking along Port Elizabeth’s magnificent beachfront.
The walk from Shark Rock Pier to the Summerstrand Beacon over 5 kilometres will take approximately one hour and will be held over the entire Summer season, weather permitting.

Come on Humewood CPF, how about a similar initiative in Richmond Hill? Members of the public will be able to chat to local SAPS members whilst walking in South Africa’s second oldest suburb with magnificent examples of Victorian and Edwardian architecture and beautiful views of the bay.
