The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality would like to advise residents of the above areas of a scheduled shutdown of the 450 mm water supply pipeline in the Coega and Colchester Area on Wednesday, 21 June 2017 from 07h00am. This is in order to repair a bad water leak at the N2 / Neptune Road interchange.
The work has, until now, been delayed due to non-availability of specialised pipes and fittings.
These materials have now arrived and the work must be done as soon as possible in order to avoid further water losses.
NB: The shutdown will affect Coega zones 1 and 2, the Port of Ngqura and possibly Colchester.
Water would be restored later in the afternoon.
