Piotr Czyzyk

Goodyear South Africa is proud to announce Piotr Czyzyk as a new addition to the Trentyre and Goodyear leadership team. Piotr Czyzyk joins Goodyear as the new Director for Trentyre and Commercial business and has been consulting in Trentyre since February this year. Before joining the South Africa operation, Czyzyk was the Commercial Director for Goodyear in Central Europe.

Piotr Czyzyk has an extensive track record with over 17 years in Goodyear. In 2011, he served as Retail Development Director and worked as the Commercial Director in Poland and Ukraine from 2012 to 2014. He also managed the company’s Truck and Off-The-Road (OTR) tyre business overseeing 16 countries as the Commercial Director in Central Europe between 2015 and 2017. He further held a variety of executive roles in Sales within Goodyear.

Czyzyk commences his new assignment in South Africa in August 2018 and reports to Darren Hayes-Powell, Group Managing Director of Goodyear South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa. “Piotr Czyzyk has the relevant experience, strong leadership capability, combined with a thorough business understanding which will help deliver Trentyre strategies. I am confident that Piotr will effectively lead the execution of the Company’s optimal go-to-market approach, further improving satisfaction for our customers and enabling implementation of innovative solutions,” concluded Hayes-Powell.
