Politics Season Seven (The Coalition Threatens) is upon us again.

Eager voters are swiping right and left with abandon as they choose between over 300 political parties clamouring for their attention in the run up to our General Elections on Wednesday, 29 May 2024.

Even more eager wanna-be politicians are running aorund kissing snotty babies; shaking unwashed hands that have just steadied, squeezed and shaken a short leg in the urinal; breathing in the stench of the great unwashed and handing KFC and T-Shirts out like Jesus feeding the multitudes.

And, in all this ‘excitement’ we have the dumb leading the dumber…

Yesterday on SA FM a caller phoned in on the BTH Show and slagged the ANC Government off for:

  • Being in power for nearly 30 years (10 May 2024 marks the 30th year since Nelson mandela first took office as our President),
  • Having 5 Presidents – Nelson Mandela, Thabk Mbeki, Kgalema Motlanthe, Jacob Zuma and Cyril Ramaphosa who did “nothing” for black people,
  • Only using BEE to benefit a small elite.

Now all the above is the normal rhetoric BUT his next statement floored me a bit as he said that the Governments biggest failure was not having a Black Person own a bank or large industrial enterprise.

COMPOUNDING that was the presenter then trying to say that the reason for that was because of apartheid spatial planning which forced black people to stay far from their jobs.

COME ON PEOPLE – did you forget about our Presidents Brother in Law, Patrice Motsepe and Tyme Bank?

TymeBank is majority owned by African Rainbow Capital (ARC) which was founded by Dr. Patrice Motsepe, making it South Africa’s first majority black-owned bank.

OR do I need another pair of glasses as he is actually WHITE!
