The strain has been worsened by close to two billion rand that is owed by businesses for Water and Electricity.
Tomorrow, 12 September 2023 the Services Cluster Mayoral Committee Members will inform the public t large on the drastic efforts that the Municipality will embark on to recover the money owed.
The Services Cluster MMCs that will host the briefing are MMC for Infrastructure and Engineering which is responsible for Water Services, Electricity and Energy and Budget Treasury.
