Residents are invited to send their messages of support to Madiba.
On 8 June 2013, former President Nelson Mandela was admitted to hospital with a lung infection – a recurring condition that has seen him being admitted for treatment three other times in the last 2 years – 26 January 2011, 8 December 2012 and 27 March 2013.
Nelson Mandela Bay is a municipal region that proudly bears Madiba’s name and consists of Port Elizabeth, Uitenhage and Despatch.
Residents of Nelson Mandela Bay and South Africa are invited to offer up their messages of support (in the “YOUR PERSONAL MESSAGE” field below) to the father of our democracy:

space for messages to Mandela – after all our Municipality bears his
name – I created this space for local people to send their own personal
messages as representatives of Nelson Mandela Bay.
