The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is hosting host soccer, rugby, netball and volley ball games being contested among all Eastern Cape District municipalities and metros.
The opening ceremony for the games will be at 14:00 at the Adcock Stadium situated on the corner of Lindsay and Stanford Roads, Korsten, followed by the opening match between the Mandela Bay Municipality Bay and neighbours, Cacadu District Municipality at 16:00.
The Under 19 Soccer and Seven-a-side rugby teams from communities from all represented districts will also participate. Event organiser and Chief of Staff in the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, Mr Bheza Ntshona, says the community clubs are included to build closer integration between municipal officials and communities.
The games will start at 09:00 simultaneously for all the sporting codes at Adcock stadium tomorrow and on Saturday.
The municipal games will end with a Cocktail Closing Function at the North Campus of the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University at 16:00 on Saturday.
