Municipal supplier database moves in-house

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will be maintaining and managing its supplier database in-house from 1 October 2013. This means that suppliers must obtain applications forms for new applications from Supply Chain Management and amendments to the supplier profile must be submitted to this sub-directorate as well.

In terms of the institution’s Supply Chain Management Policy, the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality (NMBM) must keep a list of accredited prospective providers of goods and services that must be used for procurement requirements through written quotations and formal written price quotations.

In compliance with the above, suppliers are required to register on the NMBM database. Application forms can be obtained from the following address:

  • The Supply Chain Management Compliance Office, Harrower Road Depot, corner. Buxton Avenue and Harrower Road.
