Maltese cross breed went missing on 18 May after 12pm in the Newton Park area (between 1st and 3rd Ave), Cape road, Port Elizabeth.
***MTN security guards saw a white young lady in a late model white Mercedes Benz picking Jonsie up in Cape road. She has not contacted any animal shelter. Thank you for saving Jonsie, but please contact us as soon as possible to return him.***
He is a white-creamy-brown short haired, male dog, 10 years old, has a chronic skin condition and needs to be medicated.

UPDATE: Thanks to everyone who is trying to find Jonsie.
We made contact with the lady in the white Merc. It was NOT Jonsie that she picked up in Cape Rd. The Maltese she tried to rescue had a bit more pedigree than our Jonsie. Unfortunately that dog was run over by a car and died on the way to the vet. Thank you Ashley for all your effort to save that doggy.
My mom probably walked through the whole of Newton Park speaking to anybody she came across and knocked on many doors (still doing it). A dog fitting Jonsie’s description was seen last Thursday, Saturday and twice on Sunday in the Newton Park area. All these sightings were either in 2nd Ave or close to it. Hopefully he will be more visible tomorrow as it is garbage collection day in Newton Park. An old lady also saw a similar looking dog on a leash held by a “young” black boy at KFC in Walmer on Thursday.
