What is a better way of closing Nelson Mandela Month than through music and dance, things that the father of our democracy and world icon Nelson Mandela enjoyed?
As part of the Nelson Mandela Month activities, Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality will on 27-30 July 2016 host a music festival to celebrate the life and times of Nelson Mandela and the values he stood for.
The festival is a climax of a number of music development sessions that the municipality held across the City to unearth and develop local talent. At the festival local artist that came through those sessions will share a stage with national acts in celebration of Tata Madiba’s life and values.
