Nelson Mandela Bay Executive Mayor, Cllr. Zanoxolo Wayile will switch the official Nelson Mandela Bay Christmas tree on this evening outside the City Hall in Vuyisile Mini Square, Port Elizabeth with three days to go to Christmas.
The city Christmas tree lighting ceremony is a new feature in the Summer Season programme and will be a permanent aspect of it going forward. It willultimately grow to be on par with similar events in cities like Brisbane and will bring all communities together to inculcate a strong community spirit among residents and visitors.
Residents and visitors are invited to Vuyisile Mini Square for the ceremony that will take place at 18:30 today, 22 December.
