On 20 October Netcare 911 paramedics took time off their busy schedule to spend the day with a seven-year-old boy who has been diagnosed with terminal cancer.
According to the boys father it has been Mohammeds wish to feed dolphins and spend the day at Ushaka Marine World.
Having heard this, Netcare911 COO Craig Grindell granted permission for the boy to be transported under the care of Netcare 911 paramedics and the Umhlanga hospital medical team to Ushaka Marine World where he interacted with dolphins and also fed them.
The boy was then airlifted back to Port Elizabeth in a Netcare911 Jet Air Ambulance where he was admitted into hospital.
