Hi, My name is Nkosomzi Damana also known as J-RYDER PSA I’m an artist from Gqeberha and I’m 25 years old. I started making music in 2013 at high school, I started writing after realizing I was shy and not articulate as much as I wanted to because of my low self esteem, writing was and is my safe space to write and express myself freely with no limitations. I came up with my stage name because I wanted a name that matches with my personality which is the RYDER but I decided to put Y (coz I’m forever Young) and J was my nick name in high school hence J-RYDER and with PSA I’m labelling myself as a Proud South African. I have been making music for 8 years and I was able to put out 2 projects (High On Life and Me 2 You) and 9 singles with 1 video. in 2019 I hosted my first hip hop show called Swenk Dokotela Launch, I was promoting one of my singles Swenk Dokotela which did very well coz it made me popular. This is just the beginning my story is very long but since you are here I would like if we would embark on a journey please follow me on all my socials so that you can witness the story with your own eyes continuing.
